The Passoã Margarita is a tropical twist on the classic margarita. The distinct and lingering passionfruit flavour makes this drink sensational! When you can’t get to the tropics, you can at least get a tropical feel with this delicious cocktail.
20mL Passoa Passionfruit liqueur
20mL Sierra Silver tequila
30mL freshly squeezed lime
1 fresh passionfruit
2-3 mint leaves
Cut passionfruit in half and scoop out flesh into a shaker. Add Passoa, tequila, Cointreau and lime into a cocktail shaker.
Add ice, shake and strain into a chilled salt-rim glass (optional). Garnish with mint leaves.
If fresh passionfruit is not in season, use tinned passionfruit.
