Spirits Platform’s Managers recently participated in a Leadership Workshop with Martin Moore, a leading speaker, ex-CEO of a multi-billion-dollar company who talked about driving single-point accountability, elements of a great decision, rules of how to empower your team, and shared his six rules for simplicity and focus.
The team were taken through a case study which was discussed in separate group sessions and then wholistically with the entire group. This approach highlighted the many different perspectives and solutions, showcasing Spirit Platform’s approaches to leadership.
The course was a great refresher for managers, and we hope they will bring their learnings to life through practical experience.
Our Brand Manager Anastasia Freer, recently gave birth to her first child, Victor Ernest Freer, born on 10th March 2023. Both parents are ecstatic over the safe arrival of their baby boy who is at home and doing well. Anastasia is super excited about her new role as a mother!

We recently introduced a new initiative to ensure that our people are informed and trained in a variety of Work Health and Safety courses. Courses included Building and Office Evacuation, Treating Burns, Bullying in the Workplace, Manual Handling, Display Screen equipment, Working from Home, Ergonomics and Drive Aware, to name a few. Each staff member completes the courses online and are issued certificates on completion.
To kick start 2023 with a good feeling, we announced an exciting Spirits Platform company initiative! In 2022, the Koala was officially listed as an endangered species with recent studies indicating that the Koala will become extinct in NSW before 2050, unless rapid and effective action is taken.
So, rather than celebrating our birthdays with a birthday cake, Spirits Platform will adopt a Koala for every employee for the first 12 months.

Spirits Platform attended the Australian Supply Chain and Logistics of Australia awards held at the Park Hyatt Melbourne with over 500 people in attendance. We were thrilled to have won the High Commendation Award in the International Supply Chain Category. Other finalists included: ANCA Pty Ltd; Globelink International; iTrazo TraceTech and Logility Inc.

Our Senior Brand Manager, Daniella Klinsic recently gave birth to her third child, Raphael ‘Raphy’ Klinsic. He was born Monday 5th December 2022 at 7:43 pm, weighing 3.03kg and 50cm tall.
He arrived safe and sound and didn’t give Mum too much grief. He is super spoilt by his 2 older brothers (and Mum and Dad of course).
Our VIC/TAS State Manager, Bridget Rogers gave birth to her first baby, Matilda (Tilda or Tilly) Florence May on 17th November 2022. After giving her only 2 days of Maternity leave to frantically prepare, she arrived 3 weeks early at a healthy 3.8kg.
However, right from the start Tilly did it tough with a few health issues that were able to be resolved within the first few weeks of her life.
“We chose the name Matilda from the two names we had when we realized it means “Might and Strength in battle” – it was an obvious choice after the resilience she’s shown”, said Bridget.
