Created to communicate Licor 43’s Spanish provenance by paying tribute to the creativity and craftsmanship of Spanish artists, the Licor 43 ‘Made of Spain Art Edition’ series began last year with a design inspired by the trencadis mosaic technique made famous by Gaudi in Barcelona. The Licor 43 brand was born as a premium Spanish liqueur produced in Cartagena, Spain, using a secret Spanish family recipe of 43 natural ingredients, which includes selected Mediterranean citrus fruits and botanicals. Cartagena remains the brand’s home and is the only place where Licor 43 and its range are produced. Licor 43 Original was launched in 1946 and emits a bright golden glow and the perfect balance of ingredients deliver deliciously smooth layered flavours of vanilla, citrus, botanicals and floral notes. Ginger 43
Mix Licor 43 with the gentle spice of ginger ale and delicate zest of lime.
30mL Licor 43
200mL Ginger Ale
Juice from ½ lemon
Ice cubes
Slice of lime & twist of lime peel
Add ice cubes to your glass and allow it to chill. Pour the ginger ale over the ice.
Mix in the Licor 43 and add the lime juice. Finish by garnishing with a lime slice and a twist of lime peel.
This cocktail is the perfect balance of sweet and sour. Its fruity, light refreshing taste is great as an afterwork drink, Aperitivo or paired with your meal.

NAUGHTY BROWNIE 43
Put your diet aside and sin with this Naughty Brownie 43.
100mL Licor 43
650g pure raw chocolate
450g sugar
250 fresh raspberries
250g butter
200gl spelt flour
6 large eggs
Preheat your oven for up to 180C. Put baking paper in a baking dish.
Melt butter and chocolate. Remove from heat and mix in the sugar. Mix well then add eggs one at a time. Pour in the Licor 43 into the mixture. Add the flour and stir in the raspberries in the batter. Spread the mixture into the baking dish and bake the brownies for 20-30 mins.
