Prestigious American whiskey brand Michter’s joins the Spirits Platform portfolio

Based in Louisville, Kentucky, Michter’s is renowned for its high-quality bourbons, ryes, and American whiskeys. Their offerings include the celebrated Michter’s US★1 Bourbon, US★1 Rye, US★1 Sour Mash, and US★1 American Whiskey as well as limited releases ranging from Michter’s 10 Year Bourbon to Michter’s Celebration Sour Mash, which defined a new echelon of American whiskey. Michter’s is known for meticulous craftsmanship, and Michter’s whiskeys frequently earn high ratings and awards, solidifying their reputation for excellence in the whiskey industry.

In late October 2023, whiskey history was made when the UK-based publication Drinks International announced that Michter’s had been voted the World’s Most Admired Whiskey by an Academy of independent global whisky experts, journalists, bartenders, and drinks buyers from more than 20 countries. This marked the first time ever that an American brand had received the whiskey industry’s highest honour.

Spirits Platform will also take over distribution of Michter’s portfolio-mate Los Siete Misterios Mezcal, an award-winning brand from Oaxaca, Mexico, from June 27. All parties will collaborate to ensure a seamless transition for existing customers.
