What does 200 years of whisky mastery look like? Now, you can see it in every detail.
The Macallan has unveiled a bold new visual identity across its Timeless Collections — Double Cask and Sherry Oak — designed by legendary graphic artist David Carson, and rolling out across Australia from August 2025. More than a packaging refresh, this redesign is a tribute to what makes The Macallan special: craft, heritage, innovation — and the ability to evolve without ever compromising what’s inside the bottle.
Although the visual identity has evolved, the whisky remains the same unmistakable taste for which The Macallan is renowned – balanced, elegant and refined.
A Design That Tells the Story
Carson’s design draws inspiration from the flowing roofline of The Macallan’s iconic Speyside distillery, the Spanish Sherry Triangle, and the oak casks that define the soul of every expression. From the sleek new bottle shape to tactile labels and a QR code for discovery, the packaging invites both bartenders and guests into the world of The Macallan — without saying a word.
• The triangular shoulder label nods to tradition and the Sherry Triangle, where the oak casks are seasoned.
• New back labels include a cask icon system that helps decode flavour profiles at a glance.
• Advanced anti-counterfeit technology ensures authenticity and builds confidence at every level.
The result? A bottle that’s just as considered and elegant as the whisky it holds.
Two Collections. One Signature.
Each Timeless Collection expresses a different facet of The Macallan’s mastery — from the smooth and creamy notes of Double Cask to the deep intensity of Sherry Oak.
