Tia Maria shaking things up at Moonlight Cinema

Tia Maria will be hosting pop-up espresso martini bars at Moonlight Cinema across Australia. Shaking up Australia’s unofficial national cocktail for movie buffs from November through to March 2020.

The exclusive Tia Maria bar is dedicated to all things coffee cocktails, serving up delectable mixology including the crowd favourite Tia Espresso Martini of course. Tia Popcorn Frappe is also on the menu, which is practically dessert and popcorn in one drink – hitting your sweet and salty cravings in one! Finally the refreshing Tia and Tonic is perfect for those hot summer nights. Taking cinema beverages to a whole new level, these cocktails are available all season. Those living large and sitting in ‘Gold Grass’ can even order their coffee cocktails to be delivered directly to their comfy bean beds!

With a star studded program featuring blockbuster films throughout from November to March. Kicking off with new releases such as The Joker, Ford v Ferrari, and the new J.Lo comedy Hustlers. Film fans can get in the Christmas spirit with December screenings including Love Actually, Home Alone, Elf and Die Hard, as well as brand new release Last Christmas. Tia Maria will be serving up their signature cocktails at the Moonlight Cinema in Sydney (Centennial Parklands), Brisbane (Roma Street Parkland), Melbourne (Royal Botanic Gardens), Adelaide (Royal Botanic Gardens) and Perth (Kings Park) over the next few months.

25ml Tia Maria coffee liqueur

25ml Vodka

Double or single shot of Espresso

5ml of sugar syrup

Fill a martini glass with ice and set aside to chill. Pour Tia Maria, vodka and espresso into a cocktail shaker. Fill the rest of the shaker with ice. Shake the ingredients together. Empty the martini glass of ice. Pour in the contents of the shaker using a strainer and sieve into the glass. Finish with three coffee beans.


50ml Tia Maria coffee liqueur

Double Shot Espresso

50ml Milk

20ml Popcorn Syrup

Fresh popcorn

Pour the Tia Maria, espresso, milk and popcorn syrup into a shaker. Add ice and shake the ingredients together. Using a strainer, pour contents into a latté glass full of ice. Top with the fresh popcorn and add a straw to serve.


50ml Tia Maria coffee liqueur

30ml Espresso Coffee (optional)

80ml Tonic Water

Grapefruit / Lemon


Simply combine the Tia Maria with a shot of espresso (optional) and top with tonic water, and garnish with a twist of grapefruit or lemon peel for a quick and easy cocktail combination with a fizz.
